1. Can we brand the machines?
Yes!
With all of our machines (except Mist Orbs), you can add custom branding to make the invention fit seamlessly with your event theme. Most machines also feature lighting, and you can choose the colour to match your look and feel.
2. Does your pricing include staff?
Oh, yes!
All our inventions come with dedicated staff to keep the machines running smoothly and engage with guests, ensuring everyone has a great time!
3. How long can you be active for?
Our machine hire starts from 2 hours, and we can extend to multiple days.
4. Can we choose the flavour?
Absolutely!
You can choose from our extensive (and delightfully decadent) menus for each machine. If you’re planning a large-scale event and dreaming up a bespoke flavour, let’s explore how we can make something seriously delicious together.
5. Do you only operate in London?
No-way!
We operate all over the UK and up to 1,000 miles from our base (near Oxford) across Europe.
6. How many people can each machine serve, and is there a limit on servings during the event?
Great question! Each machine has a guideline capacity, but we don’t limit servings - we’ll keep scooping and serving as much as humanly possible throughout your event.
7. Can we put the machines outside?
Some of our machines are suitable for outdoor use, while others work best indoors. Please let us know at the enquiry stage if you’re planning an outdoor set-up. All machines will definitely require cover in case of inclement weather.
8. How long does it take you to set up?
Not long at all!
As standard, we arrive 2 hours before we’re due to be active. This allows plenty of time for the team to unload, park, and set-up, ensuring everything is ready to interact with your guests. For exhibitions and large-scale activations, we can also accommodate load-in the day before, and we’ll work closely with you to agree the most suitable access and set-up time. We can also be flexible with timings if you’d prefer an earlier load-in (additional fees may apply).
9. Are you available on...
Our booking process works on a first come, first served basis (the early bird gets the worm!), so we recommend booking as soon as you’re ready. Once we’ve received your enquiry, we recommend keeping us updated as your plans develop so we can share availability. We also have multiple units of some of our most popular machines, helping us meet demand and keeping everything running smoothly (and sweetly).
10. How is your product served, and how do you minimise the use of plastic?
At LMID, we take sustainability seriously. Wherever possible, we serve in edible containers - ice cream in cones, chocolate cups or pastry cases, balloons on strawberry laces, and chocolate shots in chocolate cups. When that’s not possible, we use sustainable options such as paper straws, cardboard cups, and Vegware.
