The team at Lick Me I'm Delicious work on a variety of specialist food experiment and invention commissions, if you have a brief for us, just get in touch and we can take it forwards. Here are some of the things we've done in the past;
This is the World's first levitating cocktail machine. Developed in collaboration with Professor Bruce Drinkwater from the University of Bristol, the Levitron uses sound waves at an ultrasonic level to levitate tiny droplets of incredibly potent alcohol which can be licked straight out of the air.
Working with a group of very clever scientists, we developed the World's first glow in the dark ice cream made with synthesised jellyfish luminescence which cause the ice cream to glow as you lick it. At £140 a scoop it is also one of the most expensive ice creams every produced. Click to watch Charlie explain it all to a very confused ABC news anchor.
Commissioned by one of our VIP clients, each ball of ice cream contains 25mgs of viagra and is flavoured with bubbly champagne. We aren't able to reveal the identity of the client, but they reported back that they were 'very happy with the end result'.
Using capacitive touch technology, the electric tea cup uses high pitch frequency tones to simulate the impression of sweetness in your tea, allowing you to forgo the lure of the sugar and replace it with electric noise instead.
Working in partnership with Bath Spa University, we created a number of edible ice cream pots which were thrown on a potters wheel. We then took these pots and photographed them as they melted using a 3D matrix style photography rig, re-printed the melting pots using a 3D printer and then recast these 3D prints in ceramic. We then held the World's first liquid nitrogen ice cream pottery art exhibition. Which was nice.
